Why Umrah is important for Deceased?

Umrah is a spiritual journey to the house of Allah and in return there are rewards for the travelers. This journey will be one of the most
beloved journeys of your life. This is guaranteed. It is such a blessed journey that Muslims get the benefit of visiting the most holiest of
places in their life time. We done a deep study on the arguments and we found out that, as we can perform Hajj on behalf of the
deceased, likewise we can also perform Umrah on behalf of the deceased. Let’s consider some arguments in this regard, and learn the justification mrah on behalf of the deceased.
Quick Contact Hazrat Abu Aqeeli states that, they came to the service of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and stated. “O Messenger of Allah, my father is very old and weak can’t perform Hajj and Umrah, and can’t even sit on a ride, so can Hajj be performed on their behalf?” The Holy Prophet W) said: “Perform Hajj and Umrah on behalf of your father, and the reward for this Umrah is nothing but paradise”

Now look at the argument which proves that Hajj and Umrah can be performed on behalf of the deceased. A woman came to the Holy Prophet’s (SAW)
service and said, “My mother intended to perform Hajj, but she died without performing Hajj. Does someone else, or me myself can do her Hajj or Umrah”. The Prophet (SAW) said: “Yes, do Hajj Umrah on behalf of her”. 1/4 The Prophet (SAW) said: “If your mother had a debt, would you pay it? So pay the debt of Allah also, because Allah is more worthy, pay his
debt.” In addition to mother, Umrah can also be performed on behalf of a sister, brother, grandparents, a friend, or a relative, if any of them
has been died. One thing becomes very clear from these that, whoever has never performed Umrah and he dies, then Umrah can be
performed on his behalf. Scholars believe that if one pays for Umrah, it will be valid.

The deceased is in need of earning even more good
deeds, because the chain of his deeds has come to an end. Because of this nafli Umrah can be performed on behalf of the deceased, that is, Umrah was not obligatory on him, and he has been died, so Umrah can be performed on his behalf. Umrah is a physical worship as well as a financial worship, and there is no difference in the statements of the scholars, regarding paying the financial charity on behalf of the deceased. Only that person can perfrom Umrah on behalf of a deceased, who has performed his Umrah. Even if the deceased did not make a will or intention to perform Umrah, Umrah can still be performed on his behalf.
Quick stact In other words, Umrah can be performed on behalf of the deceased and he will definitely get the reward for this and one Umrah is enough for a deceased. If it is easy to repay the the loan then, Umrah can be performed for the deceased, even by taking a föan. If loan is difficat to repay, then don’t put your self in trouble by taking out a loan.
